TommyInnit (born Thomas Michael Simons; 9 April 2004) is an English YouTuber, livestreamer, and comedian from Nottingham. After creating earlier YouTube channels in 2013 and 2015, he began uploading Minecraft content as TommyInnit in 2018 and rose to prominence through the Dream SMP roleplay server, which he joined in July 2020. His January 2021 Dream SMP finale stream drew over 650,000 concurrent Twitch viewers, at the time the third-highest of all time. Since 2022 he has expanded into live comedy tours, books, and podcasting. As of January 2025 his main YouTube channel had 15 million subscribers and his main Twitch channel 7.4 million followers.

Early lifeedit

Thomas Michael Simons was born on 9 April 2004 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England, and attended The Carlton Academy in Carlton. He created his first YouTube channel, "Channelnutpig," on 15 February 2013, and launched the TommyInnit channel on 24 December 2015, though he did not upload his first TommyInnit video until September 2018.

Rise to prominenceedit

Simons began streaming on Twitch in late 2018 and built an audience around Minecraft. On 4 July 2020 he joined the Dream SMP, an invite-only roleplay server, becoming one of its central figures. His stream of the Dream SMP finale on 20 January 2021 peaked at over 650,000 concurrent viewers, at the time the third-highest in Twitch history.

Comedy and touringedit

From 2022, Simons expanded into live comedy. He performed "TommyInnit & Friends" at the Brighton Dome on 1 July 2022 and co-authored a book with Wilbur Soot, published 13 October 2022. In 2023 he co-founded the comedy group "Sorry" with Wilbur Soot, Philza, Slimecicle, and Ranboo, touring the UK with "Annoying at First" from 7 to 24 June. The group announced a hiatus in March 2024.

In September 2024, Simons launched the "Shut Up I'm Talking" podcast with Jack Manifold, and toured the United States with "How to Be a Billionaire" from 12 March to 25 April 2024. In 2025 he shifted toward personal content, announced "The Survival Tour," and published "TommyInnit's Guide to Survival" on 10 April 2025. In 2026 he announced a "100 Questions with Tom Simons" series and was set to compete in MC Championship.
