Jeremy Wang (born November 25, 1991), known online as Disguised Toast, is a Taiwanese-Canadian livestreamer, YouTuber, and esports organization owner. Born in Taipei and raised partly in Malaysia and Canada, he earned a mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo in 2013 and worked as an app developer before streaming full-time. He rose to prominence around 2015 producing Hearthstone strategy content, joined the OfflineTV collective in 2017, and reached a wide audience through Teamfight Tactics and Among Us. He has streamed on Twitch, Facebook Gaming, and YouTube, and in 2023 founded the esports organization Disguised (DSG).

Early life and educationedit
Wang was born on November 25, 1991, in Taipei, Taiwan. His family moved to Penang, Malaysia, before his first birthday and later settled in Kingston, Ontario, making him Taiwanese-Canadian. He studied at the University of Waterloo, where he initially majored in computer science and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics. Before streaming, he worked as an app developer for clients including Mercedes-Benz, the NFL, the Royal Bank of Canada, and Zynga.
Hearthstone and early careeredit
Wang began building an audience in 2015 by creating YouTube infographics and videos about the digital card game Hearthstone, streaming while wearing a toast-shaped cardboard mask before accidentally revealing his face on stream in October 2016. In June 2017 he received a temporary 72-hour Hearthstone ban for showcasing an in-game exploit. He later became known for Teamfight Tactics, and by the summer of 2019 was among the most-watched streamers on Twitch.
OfflineTVedit
In October 2017, Wang joined OfflineTV, a Los Angeles-based collective of content creators. In June 2020, amid sexual-harassment allegations involving people connected to the group, he publicly expressed regret over not speaking out more at the time. He has remained a member and frequent collaborator with creators associated with the collective.
Platform historyedit
In November 2019, Wang signed an exclusive streaming contract with Facebook Gaming. He returned to Twitch in April 2020 with a non-gaming dating series, left Facebook Gaming on November 17, 2021, and announced a full return to Twitch on November 24, 2021. In January 2022, his Twitch account was suspended for 48 hours after he streamed the anime Death Note.
Among Us and mainstream growthedit
Between September 2020 and January 2021, Wang gained more than two million YouTube subscribers and over 400 million views through content built around the multiplayer game Among Us. His Among Us lobbies drew a range of guests, and the surge helped establish him as one of the platform's prominent gaming creators.
Disguised esports organizationedit
On January 8, 2023, Wang announced Disguised (DSG), a professional Valorant organization whose team competed in the North American Challengers League. On March 27, 2023, he announced an all-female DSG roster for the VCT Game Changers circuit. The organization became a central part of his business activities in esports.

Wang was included in the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the games category. At the Streamer Awards he was nominated for Best Variety Streamer in 2021 and won Best Strategy Game Streamer in 2023. He won Esports Personality of the Year at the 2023 Esports Awards, and was earlier nominated for Twitch Streamer of the Year at the Shorty Awards in 2019.

Wang's username, Disguised Toast, references a voice line from the Hearthstone card SI:7 Agent, 'This guy's toast.' Talk-show host Conan O'Brien once called it the greatest name in gaming history. In December 2022, Wang competed in Ludwig Ahgren's Mogul Chessboxing Championship, defeating PointCrow by checkmate.
