Thomas Chance Morris (born February 15, 1994), known professionally as Sodapoppin, is an American live streamer on Twitch. Born in Austin, Texas, he moved to Twitch in 2012 and became one of the platform's earliest and most-followed variety streamers, first through World of Warcraft. His content has ranged from MMORPGs and online casino gambling to Among Us, VRChat, and general variety streaming. He co-founded the esports organization Northern Gaming in 2016 and in 2022 became a co-owner of the content group One True King. As of November 2024 his Twitch channel had 8.9 million followers.

Morris began broadcasting on Xfire before moving to Twitch in 2012, where he became one of the site's early prominent streamers through World of Warcraft content. Between 2014 and 2015 he streamed online casino blackjack, and in May 2015 lost $5,000 on a single hand. He later broadened into variety streaming, including Among Us and VRChat. In the October 2021 Twitch data leak he was listed as the platform's 43rd-highest earner, with $1,461,302.14 reported between August 2019 and October 2021. As of November 26, 2024, his Twitch channel had 8.9 million followers and his YouTube channel 1.1 million subscribers.

In May 2016 Morris co-founded the esports organization Northern Gaming. In August 2017 Northern Gaming was acquired by NRG Esports, and Morris joined NRG's ownership group as an advisor. On July 21, 2022, he became a co-owner and content creator of the online content group One True King (OTK).

Controversiesedit

Morris has received temporary Twitch suspensions. On July 20, 2020, he was banned over VRChat content and reinstated on July 22. In April 2022 he received a two-week ban following an April 9 incident involving makeup described as blackface.
